Mrs Louise Goddard
Louise grew up in New Zealand and studied design at university. She joined The Timberland Company in New Zealand which took her on a 10-year professional journey to the USA via, Australia, and Singapore. In Stratham, NH at the Timberland Co. corporate headquarters she led International Distributor Marketing and Store Planning, working with international distributors all over the globe. A return to Singapore, as Director of Marketing Asia Pacific for Timberland at the newly acquired, wholly owned subsidiary, saw her lead and implement a consistent regional marketing and visual merchandising plan tied to plans for retail growth across the nine countries in the region.
Louise joined the Foundation Team in February 2022
On landing in Switzerland with her family, Louise changed career focus to work in the field intercultural coaching, harnessing her rich experience of marketing to diverse cultures. However, missing her core marketing and design work, she also volunteered extensively, working with an incredible team of volunteers empowering women in sport at a Swiss sports federation, driving and supporting the digital communication plan and working as a part of a team on strategy to increase awareness through a package of deliverables including a website, individual membership and events portal, livestreaming and social media.
Louise is motivated to join the Foundation team and serve Scouting with her skills, knowledge and experience. Louise speaks English and conversational French, loves great design and marketing, teamwork, the great outdoors and strongly believes in the importance of making a positive difference in the lives of others.
