
Ms Christine "Chrissy" Pollithy
Chrissy Pollithy is an elected member of the World Scout Committee, the main executive body of the World Organization of the Scout Movement.
Chrissy was re-elected as a member of the World Scout Committee for the 2024–2027 triennium at the 43rd World Scout Conference, held in Cairo (Egypt) in August 2024. She's committed to fostering non-formal education, good governance, equity, and sustainable development
Became a member of the World Baden-Powell Fellowship in 2017 and joined the WSF Board in 2024.
With a career defined by strategic leadership and transformative impact, Chrissy Pollithy is passionate about driving positive change on a local, national and global scale.
The German native's background already includes diverse roles, from serving as a consulting director in Berlin where she shaped business transformations and led award-winning change projects to empowering teams as a freelance media and communication trainer - all with a strong academic foundation in innovation management and communication which she studied in Germany, the United States and Sweden.
Currently, she is responsible for steering organisational development and transformation for the German Savings Bank Association, which ranks among the European Union's largest financial services groups.
As a Scout for more than 20 years, she has dedicated years in various leadership roles on local, national and international levels to developing the next generation of active citizens and young leaders.
She currently serves as a member of the World Scout Committee in her second term.
