
Mr Yorimasa Matsudaira
Yorimasa Matsudaira (Japan) joined scouting during his elementary school. Nearly 40 years later he is still active.
During that time he joined the Showa Shell oil company and worked there for 20 years.
His family owns and manages a school in Tokyo, which has a kindergarten and a Junior and Senior high school. Yorimasa joined his father as a board member and he just became Chairman of the Board of Trustee.
Became a member of the World Baden-Powell Fellowship in 2016 and joined the WSF Board in 2019
Thanks to Mr Masaya Arao he joined the World Baden-Powell Fellowship in 2016, just after the 23rd World Scout Jamboree which took place in Japan.
He is still active is his Scout group and maintains his different roles in Scouting besides the demanding responsibilities he has in his work life.
- 1978: Join the scouting as a boyscout
- 1992: Master of Chemistry from Sophia University
- 2013: Assigned as PR sub-committee of Scout Association of Japan
- 2014: Chairman of Scout Group Committee
- 2016: Admission as member of the World Baden-Powell Fellowship
- 2017: Vice chairman external relations & PR committee of SAJ
- 2019: Appointed to the World Scout Foundation as Board Member (current)
