
Mr Lars Kolind
Lars Kolind is Chairman of Kolind A/S; a group of young, entrepreneurial companies within software business. He is Adjunct-Professor of leadership at Aarhus University, Denmark and Master of Leadership and Strategy at DeTao Masters Academy in Shanghai.
Lars is a serial entrepreneur, having started more than 25 new businesses in the last 20 years.
He has worked with the Danish government and the EU Commission to promote Corporate Social Responsibility by founding the Danish Business Network for Social Responsibility and The Copenhagen Centre for Social Cohesion.
Became a member of the World Baden-Powell Fellowship in 1996 and joined the WSF Board in 1998.
Lars has written several books on leadership including The Second Cycle – Winning the War against Bureaucracy (Wharton School Publishing 2006), which has been published in 10 languages, and UNBOSS, which was published in 2012 in several languages.
Lars has been active in Scouting since he was nine. As a volunteer he has held many leadership positions at national and world level including chairman of the World Programme Committee and member of the World Scout Committee.
Lars has been member of the board of the World Scout Foundation since 1998 and he served as the Foundation’s Chairman 2007-2010 and 2017-2019. He holds a number of Scout and civil awards from several countries.
