
Mr Hector Robledo Cervantes
Hector Robledo Cervantes (Mexico) is Founder and Executive President of HRC, a conglomerate of companies with 2 lines of business: Specialised Construction and Life & Style.
Specialised Construction is the main distributor and installer of Drywall, Modular Carpets and acoustical Ceilings in Latin America and the first Mexican Company recognised by the World Economic Forum as a Global Growth Company in 2007.
Life and Style (Experience it!) owns, operates and develops Hotels, Restaurants, Quality Dry Cleaning boutiques, Private Airplanes and Residential Real Estate.
Became a member of the World Baden-Powell Fellowship in 2007 and joined the WSF Board in 2013.
Hector has an architectural degree from the National University of Mexico (UNAM) and successfully completed the Business Advance Management Program (AD2) and Advance Management Program in Innovation and Technologies (ADIT) of the IPADE Business School in Mexico, as well as the Finances Program of the Kellogg Management School. Currently he is attending the OPM 45 (Owner/President Management Program) at Harvard Business School.
He has been involved in Scouting since 1971 as Cub Scout, Scout and Rover. He also served as Troop Leader, Group Leader, National Vice-President and until recently as Vice-President of the Interamerican Scout Foundation. Hector is a Wood Badge Course Director. Since April 2012 Hector serves as a Board Member of the World Scout Foundation and has been a Baden-Powell Fellow since 2006.
Hector served as Chair of the Foundation from Oct 2019 until Sept 2021.
Hector firmly believes - based on his own life experience - that Scouting is the perfect way to develop leadership based values and principles in young people and thus help to create a better world.
