2020 Annual Report
“2020 tested every Scout in the world. And what we saw was nothing short of spectacular! As much of the world locked down and turned inwards, Scouts the world over did the opposite. When the world needed them most, Scouts responded”, says Hector Robledo Cervantes, World Scout Foundation Chairman.
Our 2020 Annual Report features just some of the innumerable actions led by Scouts around the world, which amounted to 500 million hours of community service in 2020, and helped to tip the running total over the 2 Billion mark soon after. These stories and inspirational Scouts serve to illustrate just how Scouting helps to develop resilience in young people, from their earliest years in Scouting, which then serves them throughout their lives, enabling them to help others and build more resilient communities.
