The World Baden-Powell Fellowship
Join a Global Fellowship
Across every continent, Scouts are active on the frontlines. They’re restoring environments after climate disasters, delivering aid in crisis zones, building peace in divided communities and creating opportunities where none existed before.
They don’t wait for change. They become the change.
The Baden-Powell Fellowship is how visionaries like you power that momentum, creating the conditions for 60 million Scouts around the world to act, lead and thrive.
The Baden-Powell Fellowship recognises individuals for their contributions to the World Scout Foundation in support of Scouting and unites them in a global network.
Fellowship receptions and other events are hosted worldwide and online to welcome new members, share updates and strengthen connections. New Baden-Powell Fellows are personally presented with a special pin by His Majesty The King of Sweden, Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation.
A Lifelong Association
Becoming a Baden-Powell Fellow, or BP Fellow as they are known, offers a lifelong association with the Scout Movement and with leaders from business, government and civil society who share the same ideals.
Whether or not you were a Scout, membership brings the unique reward of being part of the growth and development of young people across the world. BP Fellows of all ages join a motivated network of more than 2,500 people across 100 countries and territories.
Your Fellowship Commitment
The Baden-Powell Fellowship recognises a pledge of USD 10,000 for adults, with flexible ways to give:
- One-time gift
- Annual instalments over/up to 5 years
- Monthly instalments over/up to 10 years (from approx. USD 84 per month)
A first contribution of USD 1,000 ensures recognition at Baden-Powell Fellowship events, with the presentation of your pin and certificate.
Recognition Pathways
As your giving grows, you can be recognised through additional programmes:
- The Honours Programme
Elevate your impact over time, celebrating higher cumulative levels of giving, now including a new Diplomat’s Circle (USD 250,000) and tiered recognition within the Regal Circle. - The Founder’s Heritage
Legacy giving for those who prefer to create lasting impact through wills, estates or planned gifts – no USD 10,000 entry required.
Young Baden-Powell Fellows
The Young Baden-Powell Fellows programme is for individuals under 35 who wish to begin their philanthropic journey. By pledging USD 1,000 before their 35th birthday, Young BP Fellows join a dedicated programme with tailored recognition, reduced event participation fees and global networking opportunities with 180 like-minded people.
At age 36, Young BP Fellows may pledge the remaining USD 9,000 (with flexible instalments) to become full BP Fellows or choose to conclude their membership.
Young BP Fellows may join:
- On their own initiative
- As a gift from parents, grandparents or family members
- Through sponsorship by another BP Fellow

Friend-Raising recognition
The Baden-Powell Fellowship also celebrates those who inspire others to give. Under the Friend-raising model, existing BP Fellows who introduce new donors may receive soft-credit recognition (30% of the new donor’s fulfilled pledge) toward their own cumulative giving, contributing to progress within the Honours Programme.
