66th BP Fellowship Event - Japan

The Japan Chapter invites all Baden-Powell Fellows and their friends from all over the world to join the Honorary Chairman of the World Scout Foundation, His Majesty The King of Sweden, for a truly unique event in Kyoto - Japan.
Kyoto, the former capital of Japan from 794 until 1868 is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage City. Kyoto fascinates visitors from all over the world with its natural beauty all year around, but it is the most beautiful in late November when all the leaves turn their colours into red and yellow. During your visit we plan to take you to various historical sites such as a private visit to the old Imperial Palace with its detached villa, gardens and several hundred years old temples and shrines and we show you some of the most advanced technologies for which Kyoto is known as well.
Last but not least we assure you that you will see fine examples of traditional arts, crafts and cultural performances, and you will enjoy the beautiful as well as delicate taste or the famous Kyoto cuisine.
