58th BP Fellowship Event - Sweden

The Swedish Chapter of the Baden-Powell Fellowship organized a four-day event that kept guests rushing to keep up with the pace set by His Majesty. It was attended by some 250 Fellows and friends from 30 countries.
Everyone gathered in Kristianstad, in the lovely rural countryside of southern Sweden. Nearby they followed His Majesty through the fields as he proudly showed-off the site where the 2011 World Scout Jamboree is to be held. Dining and dancing in a country estate show-cased the wonderful Swedish hospitality and customs.
What better way to see the beautiful countryside than to join His Majesty on a five-hour train ride to Stockholm, arriving just in time to change clothes and be received by Their Majesties The King and Queen in the private apartments of the Royal Palace! An informal diner followed in the Palace Museum. Many returned the next day for guided tours of the Palace, and a popular nautical museum.
